Rotarians visited the Niños de Baja orphanage to plan a future service project.
Rotarians travel to Tecate for service and friendship
Recently, a group of our Club Rotarians traveled to Baja Californai, Mexico, to take part in two meaningful experiences—supporting the Niños de Baja orphanage and attending the Rotary Club of Tecate’s annual Paella Festival.
During their visit to the children’s home, the group delivered much-needed hygiene products and other essential supplies. More than that, they spent quality time with the children, hearing their stories and sharing moments of connection that left a lasting impression on everyone involved. It was a heartfelt reminder of the power of compassion and the bonds that unite us across borders.
After the visit, the group joined fellow Rotarians at the Rotary Club of Tecate's Paella Festival, a beloved local tradition filled with food, music, and fellowship. Not only was it a celebration of international friendship, but it was also an opportunity to support the service missions of the Tecate club.
