The program was presented by Patti Gerke from the San Diego North County Coastal Village. This is a non-profit membership organization that connects Carlsbad and Encinitas seniors to community resources for sustaining a self-directed life with purpose, promise and independence.
 
Patti Gerke earned a BS Degree from Loyola University and an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago. She is a passionate leader and supporter of Senior Care and Advocacy, and has a monthly TV program called Senior Stay.
 
The San Diego North County Coastal Village is a non-profit, membership organization that connects Carlsbad and Encinitas seniors to community resources for sustaining a self-directed life with purpose, promise, and independence. The purpose of Senior Villages is to keep adults connected and to remain in their home and communities they live. You can connect with peers, volunteers, qualify for discounts, have a home assessment and easily access household and community resources.
 
Adults over the age of 50 are welcome to join. SDNCCV is part of the National Village to Village Network. The working group meets the first and third Fridays of the month from 8:30 – 9:30 am at 2280 Calle Barcelona, Carlsbad, CA. 92009.
