The Rotary Club of Carlsbad's own Jim Pinto related his impressions of his recent trip to Egypt and Jordan and showed alot of pictures.

Jim’s showed pictures of all the places visited, plus scenes along the River Nile, street and market scenes, and visit to a Nubian school in Egypt. In Jordan he showed Petra (featured in many movies, including Raiders of the Lost Ark) and other ancient carvings in the sandstone facades.
 
Jim’s talk concluded with a picture of him floating happily in the Dead Sea, and a view of Israel across the sea, with Bethlehem, Jerusalem and Jericho in the distance.
